Haul

Hey lovelies

I am aware that I haven't posted anything in a while as I've been rather busy. But today I have a fashion and beauty haul to share with you.

I'm going to start it off with the fashion haul. As we all know, we're nearing spring/ summer which means that I need to revamp my wardrobe. I have seen a lot of people wearing kimono and it was the first thing in my shopping list. I've seen a few really nice one from Topshop but they're slightly too expensive for me so I went to buy this one from New look. The main colour is black which is great as it means that I can pair it with anything and I love the floral prints as it adds that summery vibes. Kimono is a great piece to have in your wardrobe as it is so versatile. It's good for layering up and perfect for summer with its light weight material. Cost : £12.99

Knowing me, it's not really a surprise to buy clothes that are mostly black, blue, grey or white. I found this top in the sale from Zara which says "date me please" it's very light weight material, very slouchy, just generally great to chill or layering. Cost : £5.99

You can either love or hate choker. I've always been a lover of choker even though I don't even know that it will suit me. I decided to pick this one up from Topshop which is so beautiful in my opinion. The colour is acceptable for spring/ summer so why not. Cost : £6.50

These cut out boots are really on trend at the moment and I've been checking out different stores for it. I took a trip to Topshop and found one at the cost of £30 which is alright. I was just about to buy it until I realise that they don't have my size, sighh. So I went to Primark and found the exact same one (well kind of) for a cheaper prize. It's absolutely stunning, I am in love with it and I am just thrilled to have found it. Cost : £14.00

Moving on to the beauty haul, I have the full set of the Real Technique brushes. I originally have a few individual ones and i wear it non stop so I thought it's about time to purchase the full pack. You've probably heard about this a lot but yeah it's honestly so great, it also comes with its own case which would be very useful if you're traveling. Cost : £20.99

From Lush aka one of my favourite shops, I decided to re-purchase the Lip Scrub Bubblegum. I can't get enough of it. It smells and taste amazing. Cost : £5.10

My school is recently allowing nail polish to be worn which is such a relieve. The amount of time people get in trouble because of them is ridiculous. And for that, I purchased a few nail polishes. I purchased 2 colours from MUA; Pistachio Ice Cream, which I would describe as a mint green & Bold Blue, this colour remind me of the blue summer sky, they are so pretty. I've been wearing the Pistachio Ice Cream since I bought it and I received so many compliments for it. When people ask where they're from and how much they are, everyone get surprised as it is so cheap; £1 each! I also got another nail polish from Topshop which was in sale for £1. It is in the colour Straight Laced. I would describe this colour as a really light purple with a hint of grey. These three colours are beautiful for spring/ summer.

And that is everything. I hope you enjoyed it!

Hey lovelies

I haven't been really active recently and school work is taking full blame for that haha anyway lately I've been reading/ watching a lot of the What's in my bag tag. I'm just so nosey haha oops. So today I thought if share with you what I carry around in my school bag.

8. A magazine to read during break/ lunchtime/ on the bus.

Pop of colour

Hey lovelies

A pop of colour is needed in my wardrobe as the majority of my clothes are either white, black or grey. I like sticking with the good old monochrome but I want a change. And since it's nearing spring, I think it's about time to add colours to my outfits.

To start it all of, I bought this gorgeous trousers from zara in black with orange floral prints all over it. I am literally in love with it because it's not a big step forward for me as the main colour is black but that pop of orange just makes an outfit a little more interesting. I also love how it has faux leather going all around the edges, it adds more texture. I love pairing it up with gold jewellery such as a big gold statement necklace with a simply black top. It only cost £7.99! If you don't think that's a bargain, I don't know what is, especially with the fact that it's from the trusty old zara. Zara's quality is incredible. So I suggest that you should have a little trip to your nearest zara and have a look at their sales;) Here's a picture of how I would personally wear it:

Trousers - zara
Top - Sahari
Necklace - H&M
Bracelet - New look
Bag - Dorothy Perkins
Sunglasses - BANK
Shoes - H&M

Next is a little bit more daunting. The colour of this jeans I've recently purchased really attracts attention. Topshop jeans are perfect in my opinion, they just fits in perfectly and they are super comfortable, no joke! An this one was in sale, I just couldn't resist it with the price of £16. The colour itself is absolutely beautiful, it's like an orangy coral which is one of my favourite for spring/ summer. Again I would just pair it with a simply black top, jewellery and bright lip gloss as glossy lips are the latest trend!

Jeans - Topshop
Top - Topshop
Shoes - (wrecked) converse
Bag - (I don't know sorry)
Sunglasses - Primark
Bracelet - Accesories
Lip gloss - NYC

These two are a big statement piece for your wardrobe and you can wear t all year round.Although it would be perfect for this time of the year as we nearing spring. Spring in the UK is still absolutely freezing so jeans and trousers are perfect.

I hope this makes you think of stepping out of your comfort zone in terms of fashion as this for me is scary. That sounded over exaggerated but honestly, my clothes means a lot to me as it kind of interpret who I am. I hate going out of the house when I hate what I wear as it doesn't make me feel confidence and it would just ruin my entire day. And I've been loving wearing these since the day I bought it! I can not wait till spring and summer now! I have a feeling it would be a good one.

Thank you for reading

Valentines Day

Hey lovelies, how are you all doing?

As you probably know, it is indeed Valentines Day today. Happy Valentines Day if you're celebrating it with that special person whether if you're going out for a meal or if you're staying in.

I personally don't know how I feel towards valentines day. I have mixed opinions towards it. Sometime I feel like it's so pointless, if you really do love that person then why not celebrate it everyday, spend everyday with them, treat them everyday with care and with what they deserve. On the other hand, I feel like it is important as it means that your partner can save up and spoil you. I could imagine that it would mean a lot if that whole day is dedicated to you, like it's all about you and your partner. It would make them special in some way or another I guess. I really don't know. I'm doubting whether if it is appropriate and needed or not as some might feel pressured to get a boyfriend/ girlfriend before that day.
Some would feel isolated or left out as others who celebrates it would talk about it all day; which is understandable but it could affects how others feel. And decorations are up everywhere, even websites. You just can't escape seeing or hearing the phrase "valentines day"

If you are going out for a meal, here's some tips that I would follow.
Dress elegant, girly, wear the best clothes you own, the best which makes you feel confidence. Wear it with pride!
Enhance your body, by this I mean, don't wear too much makeup, wear it to make you feel more confidence and wear clothes that is comfortable.
And just be yourself. Valentines day is all about you and your partner. If you can't be yourself then why be with them? If they love you, they'll love you for who you are. Just don't try to be someone who you are not as it could possibly ruin the day.

But if you're staying in, eating pizza and just watching films with your boyfriend/ girlfriend (which is what I'm doing except alone lol) just BE YOURSELF! You're spending it with the love of your life, enjoy the time!

I'm spending it with the love of my life...

Thank you for reading and I hope you're having a great day.

January Playlist

Hey lovelies

Today I'm going to be talking about my January playlist. It's kind of like a January favourites but just in the music category. This is obviously personal, everyone has a different type of music taste and I rarely find anyone who has the same music taste as me. And I have to admit that it's shit to not have a lot of friends that I could talk to about music because music is a big part of my life so here I am talking about it and share it with you guys. I respect everyone music taste so please don't give me hate for my music taste because that happen a lot to me haha, which is SO stupid. It's just such a shame that we live in a society where you get judged for what you listen to.

Omg I've been rambling on and on for ages (oops) so let's get on ...

First of all is Girls by The 1975. They've just released the official music video for it and oh dear lord, I am in love. I love everything about it. And I've been very lucky to have seen them live last summer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkubQCI4Fxo

Last nite by The Strokes is on my playlist as Brittany Rosa, also known as JustLovesFashion in the Youtube world tweeted about it. I downloaded it and fell in love with it. So thank you Brittany for that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOypSnKFHrE

Teenage Icon by The Vaccines. I came across this song after watching a youtube video the other week and i really like the sound track. I discover most of my favourite songs when i watch youtube videos.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFUKrsDDChE

Next is basically Arctic Monkeys' full album. Mardy Bum is great. It's my all time favourite. There are a lot o songs that I listen to 24/7 and get bored of it so easily but this one is not one of them.
Why'd you only call me when you're high and Arabella are amazing. Omg I honestly don't know how to explain it in words how much I love all these songs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6366dxFf-Os&list=PLXboAJo1ui6GUpe12EdZVGUKaMpLxmEUn&feature=c4-overview-vl

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn6-TItCazo

I Wanna Be Yours. I adore the lyrics. It describes perfectly how I feel at the moment and I just can't stop listening to it. It's very calming in my opinion. I could literally listen to it all day. Oh wait I do..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4NGoS330HE

Oh wait, not to forget, Arctic Monkeys cover of Hold On We're Going Home. You're all probably heard the original song by Drake. I actually like the original but it's over played in the radio and just everywhere which made me hate this song but then Arctic Monkeys came out with the cover and i was just like, wow. It made me love it even more and plus, it's more of my type of music so yeah, i love it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvA3q0ZU-NQ

The Call by Regina Spektor is next up on the list. I downloaded this song after hearing it in Narnia. And again I absolutely love it. It's just very relaxing to listen to.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNsQewlFtEs

Last but certainly not least, Heart on Fire by Jonathan Clay; rock version. As you might probably know, this song is in the movie LOL. It's my all time favourite film to watch. If you haven't seen it, then what are you doing with your life? But seriously, i love that film, and this song!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOk_edjCNFI

You probably think that I'm a soppy person now as most of the music up there is love related haha. I'm a failure in love and I just like to listen to these as the lyrics creates a world for me to imagine the impossible haha. Oh, i know that some of these songs are so old but there's not a lot of song that came out in 2014, in fact i don't know if there is a single song that's been released. So yeah i'd like to listen to my old favourites and rewind everything; every memory that it holds. Some of these are just based on my feelings at the moment.
Oh and i am aware that I am utterly shit at trying to explain songs but I attempted and I really need to post a new blog post so I hope you enjoyed this

Chilled weekend

Hey lovelies

My weekends been very busy and eventful lately but i had nothing planned this week which is lovely as it means i can take some time by myself and where i want to be. So i decided to have a little walk around by myself and uexploring my area. I loved it, i used the time to reflect about my life and ME. The weather was rather chilly but the sun was shining brightly which brightens my day. Everything's been rather stressful recently; school work, family problems, everything and i've calmed down a little after having this little walk. Everything was so calmed and quite. Sometime all we need is just some time alone by ourself, no one around to complicate anything. Although i had a little company, music. Music is my escape from everything. And of course nothing can be complete with a coffee by my side.

I couldn't help myself but explore and have a look at the new vintage house interior shop that's only been opened. This only means one thing; Shopping time! One of my favourite things to do. I just couldn't help it okay haha. There was so many things i'd love to buy, i adore everything that was there. But i'm sticking with my New Year resolution which was to save up. I have to go back another time though.

It was so hard to choose on what to buy but at the end i got this notice board. It's a great main piece to hang it up in my room. It looks great in my opinion to fill empty space in the wall and it's also very beneficial to me as I always forget to do things and using this I could write down little things and clip it or I could even clip pictures.

Thank you for reading, hope you're having a good day!

Lush Purchases

Hey lovelies

Lush is one of my favourite shop, ever! Walking into lush is basically walking into heaven. All you can smell as you enter the shop is gorgeous scents and bath bombs in varies different colours and types.

Every time i walked past it, I just couldn't resist going in. This time, with very little money on me, I managed to get these 2 gorgeous bath bombs.

First thing I've got is this bath bomb that has an amazing design, I absolutely love the look of this! It's called "Tisty Tosty". It just looks so elegant. I mean how can you not buy this. The flower petals in it is so beautiful. The smell of this bath bomb is like a lavender, so fresh and just a beautiful flower scent. I can not wait to try it out.

The second and surprisingly last is "Golden Wonder". As you can probably guess, it is indeed gold, once you've touched it there is no escape of you getting gold everywhere. The size of it is rather big which is great because it means you can break it up and use bits by bits. The smell is so fresh. This was on SALE, which made it even hard to resist. It's such a good purchase. I definitely recommend to have a look on your local store while the sale is still on as they do really great deals. I got this one for around £1, yep such a bargain isn't it.

Lush always give surprises and the surprise of this bath bomb amaze me haha. Judging from what you can see you'd expect yellow/ gold coloured water in your bath. But inside this particular bath bomb, there are three layers. A bright blue comes out once you break out the first gold layer and inside it is little bath bombs with different variation of colours (they remind me of chocolate buttons haha). At the end, your bath will be filled with torquaise/ light green coloured water like the ocean with little speckles of gold.

Thank you for reading my attempts on describing the smell and just generally describing these bath bombs haha
