New Years resolution

Hey lovelies

So, New Years resolution. Hmm.
I always make a massive list on my New Years resolution but i never do any of them, therefore my first one this year is to stick on my New Years resolution haha.

Next, is to save up. Now that's a really hard thing for me to do as i'm just a spender than a saver. I want to do this because i just spend my money really stupidly without thinking whether i actually need it or not. I know mum would agree with me on this one. I don't want to ask anymore money from my mum or dad. When i say saving up, i don't mean to just save up and use the money at the end of the year to go shopping or something, i want to use the money i saved up for my future as i am a wonderlust. It's a strong desire to travel the world. I want to go to all of the amazing places on this earth.

Third, i want to be healthy and get fit. I'm going to do this by eating more healthy food rather than junk food which is going to be really hard for me because my love for pizza is like no other and I eat crisps like every day but nothing good comes easy. I'm also going to try and walk more often rather than use public transport to go everywhere and it also saves up my money. 

This year, I also want to try and take pictures every single day because I want to capture very single moments of 2014 and this way, I'll be pushed to do something productive for me to be able to take great pictures instead of being the lazy old me

New Years Eve Make up and Outfits

Hey lovelies

IT'S NEW YEARS EVE, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? I'm really overwhelmed with the fact that it is New Year Eve. I hope you're all having a great time whether if you're having a party or just staying at home watching films.

We're having a little family gathering in my house tonight and i thought i'd make a bit of an effort with my make up and outfits that's quite dressy so i thought i'd share it with you.
This is all of the make up products I'm going to be using 

For my complexion i'm using the Collection conceal, Maybelline BB cream, Rimmel powder and MUA bronzer and blended in together with my real technique brush. I also apply a bit of blush from Topshop.
For my eye make up, i went with the smokey eyes using my old eye shadows, and i also went with a winged eyeliner using MUA black eyeliner.
For my lips, i apply the Maybelline baby lips first to moisturize my lips and after i apply the dark purple lipstick from Topshop which i talked a little more on my previous post. And this is the result ..

For the outfit I wore this dress that I got from Topshop. I absolutely adore this dress with its lace details on the tops half of the dress. The colour is quite flirty, perfect for going to a party on New Year's Eve. It also matches the colour of my lips as I only applied it once. 

I'm wearing my heeled boots that I got the other day on Boxing Day. 

I always leave my hair till last because I never know what to do with it and if I do it first I never have time to do the rest haha. And I went for half pony hairstyle as it's very simple to do but it still looks like you've put an effort on to it. I tied it with my favourite scrunchies. It's velvet and burgundy, two of my favourite things. It's available in Topshop for £4! And I leave the rest of my hair natural.

Trace back my 2013

Hey lovelies

The title of this blog is "trace back my 2013" and that's exactly what i'm going to do now because i honestly couldn't remember precisely what happened throughout this year. Therefore i'm going to search and look through photos from this and i'll share it with you guys

2013 started off quite well with me achieving me something.
January was the month that I won a badminton tournament playing double with my best friend. We came 3rd, not what I was aiming for but i was still quite proud of it as it was my first ever badminton tournament. The lesson I learned from that was to not give up, I'm still currently playing badminton every Sunday in the hope of improving my skill. 

February was the month that it snowed fr the first time during the winter season. It was late but still great. I've always loved the snow, it's just such a beautiful sight. The coldness lead me to my new obsession; Starbucks. I started to go to Starbucks very often to keep me warm, haha well that was my excuse. It's just a great place to stay, coffee and free wifi, what's not to love ey 

March was just so boring, the normal life of a teenager at school. Although school is always a laugh with these girls. Shame we're not as close anymore, I do miss them

April, the start of Spring, such a beautiful season. Me, my mum and her friends went to York for a girly time. We went around to visit the old buildings and main tourists places and obviously, we went shopping. 

May, hm i honestly couldn't remember anything and there is no photos or anything to help me remember it, it was just probably one of those pointless boring months full of school work and REVISION

June was stressful and yet very exciting as it was the month before the summer holiday. School work was really stressful with the last minute assessments and deadline but summer holiday just next month gave me motivation to keep going

July was the month full of happiness, the start of summer. It was the summer break but before we broke off, we went on a school trip to Pleasure Island which is  a theme park. It might just the end of school trip to some people but for me it was one of the most important moments of my life. I have this anxiety with rides and i've gotten after that fear after this trip with the help of my friends which i really appreciate.  

August was a daring month. It was the month when i decided to start this blog and it was one of the greatest decision i've ever made, i love doing this so much. Alongside running this blog, i was enjoying summer holiday so very much. August the 25th was my birthday and me and my family went to Nottingham to celebrate it. It was a great day out, nothing much, just me and my family spending time together going around Nottingham and had a little picnic.

September was the end of the summer break but just before we went back to school, there was this local music festival called Humberside Festival. I had such a great time as i watched one of my favourite band; The 1975 live and for free. Now that was memorable, i also made a few friends there which is also a good thing. And after that it's just back to school, but it was quite exciting as we moved back to our original school that's just been refurbished for a year long. 

October, the start of autumn. My favourite season, my favourite time of the year. The temperature is just perfect; quite cold but the sun is still shining bright, the atmosphere and the sight is just beautiful. I love seeing all the different coloured leaves falling gracefully off its own tree. I could just watch it fall all day, i especially love stepping on crunchy leaves. 

November was the month where me and best friends got really close and i mean seriously close. I treat them like my sisters rather than my best friends now. We started to make YouTube videos that month and we are so happy and thankful with the respond people are giving us. December, wow december went by so fast. It's just a few days before it's finished. So unbelievable. It's just a month full of happiness for me. I loved every singe second of it by spending my time with my bestest friends.

Dark Lips

Hey lovelies

I've been loving my dark lips lately so i thought i'd share one of my favourite lipstick. I've been wearing dark lipstick throughout this autumn/ winter season and i can't get enough of it.

I love my topshop lipsticks, they're just the best in my opinion and i've grown fonder with them after getting this little beauty. The shade is called "The Damned" which absolutely described itself. I'd describe this colour as a dark purple but not too dark with a slight hint of red maroon. If you're experimenting with dark colour lipstick, this is the one. As i said it's not too dark but you can really build it up and as a result it will turn into a burgundy colour.

Boxing Day Sales Haul

How was your Christmas? I hope you all had a good one :)
Today i'm going to go through my purchases from the Boxing Day sales. Boxing Day is one of my favourite day of the year because i love shopping too bits and what's not to love with a bargain. I only brought a couple of things but they're main pieces of the wardrobe.

Me and my friends were the first on the line for Topshop, we waited since 6 am when it opens at 8 but it was definitely worth it. Without further ado, let's get into it.

From Topshop aka my favourite shop, I got a boyfriend coat. Everyone's been raving about it and it's about time I get it so I got this blue one for only £25 reduced from £58. I'm still not sure about it but it's only £25, I just couldn't resist it and it's on trend right now so why not. I'm going to style it and maybe write a blog post about it.

Next thing i got from River Island is some new jegging; Molly jegging. I love jeggings because it looks like denim but it's extremely comfortable to wear. I already know that this will probably be one of my favourites of the month. I prefer a high waisted one but you know grab what you can before you regret it when it comes to sales. 

I also got this gorgeous black velvet playsuit- which i thought was a dress at first. Velvet is my favourite texture at the moment, i can't get enough of it. The collar made me fell in love with it even more. Collar and velvet are my two favourite thing to have on clothing items. And those two together is just perfect. It's also very flattering because it comes with a little belt attach to it. This one is in a size 10 and i'm originally a size 6 but i just can't resist it. It does look quite big on me but with the belt, i can adjust it. I'm starting to really like playsuit because i'm those kind of girls who loves to look quite girly but i'm really not, i move a lot. Short dresses is a no for me haha except for special occasions of course. I think playsuits makes an outfit look casual. I just adore this playsuit so much.

Last but not least is my new favourite pair of shoes. I've had my eyes on this for quite a while but i just never have the time/ money to buy it. This item is not on sale but i just love it so much. I've always loved wearing ankle boots but this has got to be my favourite pair. It give me a bit of height which i love because i'm so small. I literally hate my height so much and it makes me so insure when i go shopping with all my tall friends because i'm just so small but this will prevent that from happening now. The heel is not too high at all, it's very easy to walked with. I highly recommend this! Oh i forgot to mention, this is from H&M from £24.99 which i think is a reasonable price

Maybelline Babylips

My lips get really dry during this time of the year and it gets damaged. But thankfully I found out about this Babylips. They are literally my life saver. I use a lot of lip balms, particularly the Vaseline but I have to use my fingers to apply it on my lips which i hate because when I go out, the weather is really cold which means my hands needs to get wrapped up in my favourite pair of gloves and taking it off to re-apply lip balm is not an option. This Babylips allows me to just re-apply at any time without stuggle. 

Also they are really moisturizing and has definitely helped my lips a lot. They give a hint of colours which I love, I usually put it on before applying a matte lipstick as it would benefit my lips to be moisturized.

I bought this product when it first went out and I've been using it ever since. It's a great purchase and very an inexpensive. You could find these at any local drugstore such as boots and superdrug. If you haven't got it ready, I definitely reccomend this product to try, especially if your lips gets really dry. 

I also got this one for free after purchasing 3 products from Maybelline. It's also limited edition so I was thankful to have it. It's in the shade Cherry Velvet and the name just describes itself. So go and grab 3 products from Maybelline from Superdrug or Boots and if you're lucky you might get these for free. The size is absolutely adorable, I love it. I can take it everywhere I go
